Well, this is an unexpected surprise. Steve Purcell’s blessing eh? Can’t wait to hear the rest of it.

Unexpected, but good one, I hope? There’ll be others in the future. I might alternate between and this and PMI, depending on scripting.

Yeah, that was pretty awesome

This is pretty wonderful, actually! It’s great to see the Freelance Police doing a proper film noir pastiche and the tone was spot on without compromising either of their characters.
My only problem was with Max’s performance. His voice tone is PERFECT, but he speaks a little slowly and fumbled his words a few times. It’s nothing that couldn’t be solved with a few more takes, though. Even so, great work, and I’m eagerly waiting for the next episode.

I do think Max should be pitched a little higher. I can’t help but hear ‘Red’ every time Max speaks. A little higher and faster would help differentiate the voice mannerisms of both characters a little more. IMO

Yeah, I can hear Red as well. But you know, in every movie that Eddie Murphy does, he sounds like Eddie Murphy. There’s only so many voices I can do.
